The Paul Celan Fellowship program supports

The Paul Celan Fellowship program supports East-West, West-East andEast-East translations of canonical texts as well as comtemporary keyworks in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Studies. Specialemphasis is put on translations of relevant works written by East European authors and/or by female scholars.
Fellows are invited to spend 3 - 6 months at the Institute for Human Sciences to pursue their translation projects while working inresidence at the Institute. The fellows will receive a stipend to coverliving expenses, travel, health insurance and incidentals. The IWM provides a guest apartment, a personal office with e-mail and internetaccess, in-house research facilities and other relevant sources in Vienna.
