The academy is open to participants from the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Israel and Germany. It is aimed at teachers, historians and political scientists working in the fields involved. The International Academy is a unique learning opportunity for people working in the fields of remembrance and memorials, history and politicsteaching, and human rights education. The goal of the academy is to convey fundamental knowledge and skills in the field of international human rightsprotection and to discuss current issues in the teaching of history, civic education and human rights.
